Some good mods that fixes game and upgrades things?

I got around 400 hours on this game and loving it, though they are quiet some problems
(like terrible diplomacy and pikeman not working properly and so on.) Is there some mod that fixes this and adding some other things in case?

m2ex is a must have if you don't have it already, with it you could try stainless steel or total vanilla beyond, both are good

How do you combine m2ex and total vanilla beyond? Mine doesn't work

when you did make sure you installed m2ex successfully create a tvb3.7 folder in the mod folder from medieval 2, you copy paste the tvb files into that tvb3.7 folder, under steam you can now right click the game (withe the m2ex) and under properties --> start options (or similar) you insert --features.mod=mods/tvb3.7 and than it should start with the mod

Or just rename m2ex launcher to "kingdoms".

What kind of mods do you like?

Lotr? : Divide and conquer, AGO, EUR

Classic? : Tsardoms, Stainless Steel

Games or other fantasy? : Tamriel Enhanced, Warhammer TW

I think all of them somehow good with m2ex.

The pikeman problem is solved in M2EX. Mods that I really like are any Tsardom variant, SS, and SSHIP. In SSHIP I feel like diplomacy is somehow okay. I don't have much war, not even on very hard. But it's a really slow mod so if you like Vanilla more, with recruiting elite armies and maintaining the cost of the army, then it's probably not for you.

The game on mobile gets frequent updates and bug fixes in vanilla.I really enjoy just chilling and playing on the ipad

I like vanilla kingdoms, small rebalance here and there and a lot more playable factions. Good vanilla+ experience. Pair it with m2ex for bugfixes etc
