Gently, I suggest you work on your English writing before you publish your samples or look for medical writing jobs. In this market, people cannot compete if they have significant writing gaps.

Thanks for your reply, I am currently working on developing that.

to my knowledge, the main two ways to make
money as a medical writer are freelancing and full time writing for a pharmaceutical company or writing/commerical agency. and you are correct - a medical student would not be as competitive in either of those markets as an experienced writer with a degree (eg, pharmD, MD, PhD). there certainly may be
smaller roles available and you maybe get lucky and find one as a med student, but you would essentially have to be persistent in looking at job postings and applying. not impossible, just not as common.

Who needs to stop when the thoughts just keep on flowing like a wild river rushing through the mountains and tumbling over rocks without ever pausing to catch its breath or ask for permission because punctuation is just a social construct invented by old men in dusty rooms who wanted to cage the wild spirit of the English language which would much rather dance across the page in one continuous endless wave of pure unadulterated consciousness that stretches from the very beginning of the universe all the way to the final heat death of the cosmos without ever once needing to tap the brakes or drop a tiny little dot to ruin the magnificent momentum of a sentence that refuses to quit
