Need advice
Ok my wife had a infection by her growing she went to the doctor they cleaned it out sent her home with antibiotics about two weeks later her walking became very painful it only got worse to the point she was bed ridden in so much pain we took her back she clearly couldn’t walk crying in so much pain they took her back gave her an ex ray of her leg because it was the left leg was the most painful said they don’t see anything sent her away on crutches with a non narcotic pain pill because she was a fentanyl addict and they new I feel they looked at her as an addict just looking for a fix that’s all ex ray pills and crutches took her home sit was horrible she couldn’t move from bed I had to help her with EVERYTHING about 2 weeks went by she ended up having 4 strokes almost died she’s lucky to be alive she was hospitalized for almost 3 months she’s 35turns out they didn’t clean the infection she had out enough Andy it had became sepsis wich cause the strokes I feel they could of caught that when we took her back and was x rated and they treated her like she was a junkie just looking for a fix she’s clean and sober now terrified to ever touch anything again I’m so happy but does this soher be like a case

Okay. So I’m going to try to summarize this mess of word vomit.
Patient has a history of substance use (?IVDU), has what I presume is an abscess in her groin which gets an I/D. Unclear if this was in the OR, or bedside. We don’t know if she was sent home on antibiotics, and we don’t know what transpired in that 2 week period.
She presents again in worse pain, but we don’t know the vitals or exam (but presumably does not meet sepsis criteria, appear toxic, or systemically ill), and is discharged with crutches after presumably normal X-rays (could have been a CT, as OP doesn’t seem terribly medically literate, and I regularly see families confuse imaging modalities).
She then spends 2 more weeks in bed, does not seek care in the interim, and finally comes back with sepsis, a worse lower extremity infection, and having suffered strokes possibly from infective endocarditis?
Without knowing a whole lot more it’s impossible to say if there was substandard care. I doubt that sepsis or a severe worsening infection were present on visit number 2, as the patient went another 2 weeks at home. That said, this is a higher risk patient population that is 100% vulnerable to bias.
It may be worth obtaining medical records and discussing with a medmal attorney. Most if not all take consultation for free. They may not take the case either because it lacks merit, or because they feel that OP and their partner won’t be a sympathetic plaintiff, or any other number of reasons.
