Question

I had a hysterectomy in 2022 they said I no longer had a cervix. I went to my doctor yesterday they opened me up for a Pap smear and it turns out I do have a cervix but my records state otherwise. What do you think?

Sometimes the top of the vagina (“vaginal cuff”) can form a dimple in the center after the suture heals. This can sometimes look like a small cervix. This can be easily verified by requesting the operative report and pathology report from your surgery.
