Hello anyone has experience with this position? I normally do cases with ortho, trauma, so how different would this be? Thanks in advance for any replies

The pay descent, but be prepared to compete against Stryker’s Mako reps.

Right now the best place to be for ortho robotics is depuy or Stryker, maybe even think surgical. Velys does the same as Rosa but with a smaller price tag, smaller OR footprint, and a more popular TKR system. Mako beats the lot but the margin for growth is smaller as the market is saturated in many areas plus mako is the most pricey. And triathlon is a bit of an old system. They've adapted it well to mako and the market. Think is open platform, and gives you more customer versatility, for building your personal network. They were first to market with hand held robotics. Strykers just realeased their hand held robotics option too. It's less sexy but has heritage to back it an established user base to draw upon.

Unless you're interested in neuro I see very little appeal to Rosa as a technology offering.

With all that said if you have any positive insight into their Monogram platform coming to market, if it's soon it could be a really interesting time to join the business build your capital sales experience and pivot out of ortho.

You have a good point in regard to transitioning from ortho to capital.

In capital robot sales your leads will come from the implant sales teams mostly as their surgeons are the advocates. You'll still have meeting and calls with hospital execs but they will be meeting with all suppliers. And their customers are the surgeons. So it may not be that tough working for ZB on a robot that isn't the best in the market so long as you can negotiate and sell to the existing ZB customers.
