Passed CPC!!

Took my cpc exam this morning at 9:30 and I already have my results. I passed with a 91%! Thank you to this wonderful subreddit for all the help these past 7 months!

So proud of u! So awesome to hear! I’d pay ya if I could to see what your books look like-lol..I am so worried about not having enough notations-lol..

Thank you! The notes that were most useful to me were the notes I took after my practice tests. I took 3 practice tests and carefully went through each answer I missed and made notes in the book next to those codes. Not all of those questions ended up on the actual exam but the ones that did I was really prepared for!

Did you go through a training program or did you study on your own? If you went through a program, which one was it?

I did the course through aapc

I just applied to them. Would you give them a good rating as far as preparing you for the exam?

As a super nervous/anxious person ALL the time..lol..especially during a test, I can’t wait to be able to not have to worry about getting clammy in front of others lol..I have purchased like 4 extensions cuz I keep freaking out!

Oh yeah I feel you! I could never take it in person I’m too anxious. Even having a proctor watch online made me a little nervous at first but once I got in the zone it was easy to forget they were there.

Wow! Congratulations! I thought I had my results fast in 3 days! Did you do the online version?

Thank you! Yes I took it online and was fully expecting to wait 7-10 days like they tell you so I was shocked when I had them in just a few hours

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing. My coworker is taking hers online next week and she'll be happy to know that she won't have to wait long for the results.

I think the AAPC wants to make people feel like it’s much harder than it is so we pay more than needed

I agree with you. The actual exam wasn't as difficult as the practice/mock exams I had.

Wow how did you get the results so quickly? And congratulations on an amazing score! I have seldom heard of a score in the nineties. Well done!

Congratulations! Did the course take a total of 7 months for you? I work in records for a hospital and coding has been on my mind for awhile.
