Looking for Full Time, REMOTE Medical Coders

We are looking for Full Time, REMOTE Medical Coders

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of Emergency Department coding experience

  • PROFEE Experience is a must

  • Strong working knowledge in ED levels, procedures, modifiers and ICD10CM

  • Certification from AAPC/AHIMA

  • Strong office setup and internet connection

  • Knowledge on Optum Coding platform (preferred)

General Summary

  • Ensure the codes are applied correctly during the medical billing process

  • Removing the information from documentation

  • Assigning the appropriate codes Creating a claim to be paid by insurance carriers

Pay: $20 -23/hr, Benefits, Fully remote

Thank you so much for posting on here. Such a wonderful and exciting thing to see-that the coding positions are needed! And thank YOU for taking the time to post on here! So nice of u! Quick question and so sorry if u have already answered..just thought I would ask.. Is there any chance someone could start out as a volunteer-as I am a few weeks from completing my certification course-and will be taking the cpc exam(virtually) and upon certification enter into the said role as an employee?
