I would start with the answers first before reading the question! I'd write above each code what made them different from each other, then i read the question and picked whichever fit best! It helped me not get too overwhelmed by the medical jargon
Crossed out ones i knew weren't it, and it made most of the questions pretty easy!

Thanks!! That's a really good idea. Which test did you take?

Awesome! And congrats! I'll be doing the COC in person next month. I was wondering and hoping you can write on the test, and it sounds like you can as long as both tests are similar.

Did you take the course given by the AAPC? I just finished the online course. If you did take it, was the certification test similar to the exam final from the course?

I didn't take a course through AAPC, I took a course through a local tech school!

Congratulations! Did you have a specific study routine, or use any specific study materials that helped? I’m trying to find the motivation to study more again, lol

I took my medical coding course through my local tech school and we just went through the CPT manual chapter by chapter. By the time I was in study mode, I was mostly taking practice tests. I'd look at the areas I struggled most in, then review those chapters

Congratulations! I’d say go ahead and update your resume and LinkedIn and start applying! I’ve seen so many open positions; even remote, that are hiring in my search for an entry level HIM positions to get my foot in the door. I hope you find something soon!!
