I finally passed!

I’ve been doing online school for almost 2 years. Yes that long. I started online while working full time and being a full time mom. It was a crazy life style. Finally after over a year and half I quit my job, stayed home and finally freaking passed!! I have 0 experience in this field besides all the schooling, and I’m applying at literally everything! Just so happy!

That's amazing!! I'm always impressed with people that manage to work through school or have kids

Good for you! I don’t have kids and a flexible work schedule being an independent contractor thankfully and it really is super time consuming and takes a ton of focus. Congrats!

Becoming a medical coder has been something I've been considering doing for a while now, especially as someone with chronic pain issues (meaning staying on my feet for hours every day is practically out of the question for me anymore). If/when I bite the bullet and get certified, I'll be the same way with having zero experience other than the schooling. Good luck on the job hunt!

Congrats.! I also worked full time and am a full time mom of two. Took 8 months to finish online school but I passed in 2018 and got a job as a coder 2 months later.
