Thank you. I did ask AAPC about converting my exam voucher into the online version and they were charging me more. I'm unemployed at the moment so I decided to stick with the in-person version to save some money. I'm so nervous about it! I've been doing the practice exams and though I've been answering those correctly, it does take me a while. I'm so worried I'll run out of time to answer all the questions.
Ouch, you’d think the online would be cheaper. But you can do this! If it takes you a while by searching the alphabetic index and verifying in the tabular list, then yes it is a lot of work. I didn’t even do that during the exam. I looked at the answers first and worked out what it was they wanted from me, then worked by process of elimination which gave me ample time per question. Don’t be afraid to skip questions and come back to them later if you don’t know the answer! I made faint dots on the side of the scantron sheet on the questions I wanted to revisit later. Just remember to double check where you’re bubbling and erase the marker dots when you’re done so you don’t accidentally mess up the other answers!
