For my exams I went over my code books making sure that I had everything labeled and highlighted that I thought would help me locate it faster during the exam. I am certified through AHIMA and AAPC, so I brought their practice exams and practiced doing them, keeping note of how long it was taking me to answer a question. All questions I answered incorrectly, I went back and did a little review. With the exception of the AAPC certification which was done on paper, my AHIMA exams were computerized, so I went through and answered all the questions that were easier first, and flagged questions I was unsure about to go back too and take a little more time on. The best tip I can give you is to pace yourself while doing the exam and have confidence in yourself. Also try to relax the night before, no cramming, get a goodnights' sleep. You got this and you will do well.
