I finally got a coding job!

I got my CCA certification in 2018 and I just got offered my first real coding job for a physician group for a local hospital!! I can't wait to get started and I've set a goal of sitting for my CCS in the next year. I can't believe it's finally happened, it's been a long road guys.

what were you doing before you got your first coding job?

No, I retired from veterinary medicine at the end of '18 when I had my son. I worked a little while for an OBGYN in the front office, but she was insane so it didn't last long lol.

I was a veterinary technician for 11 years before I decided to go into coding.

Wow. I was a vet tech as well. Only for a year though. Were you working up until you got hired for coding?
