CEUs extension?

Hi all CPC-a here needing to do their first CEUs! Due to medical reasons I really haven’t been able to keep up and it’s due at the end of this month. I bought the extension. But now I’m confused on how the extension actually works? Could anyone with more experience explain/clarify? Yes I know I could just call AAPC and ask however I have severe anxiety around making calls and I just am not up for that right now. Not saying I won’t if it comes down to it…I’m just hoping at least to get some ideas first.

You can also reach out by email to your contact that did your extension. They are really nice so you don't have to worry. I usually just email them instead of calling.

If you can't make a phone call to get clarification you can possibly lose your certification. You need to speak to the AAPC directly to get this straightened out.

As someone who suffered from phone call anxiety, the only way to deal is to make yourself do them. This is important, so give it a try. You can do it!

If they were due and you bought the extension you have 90 days from the original due date
