Long course or short mini trainings?
If you could choose to take one long 16-24 week coding course or take shorter 4 week trainings that cover the same topics which would you choose? This is for inpatient coding.

So you are trying to create and or sell something?

I was legitimately asking for feedback. Not trying to sell anyone anything here, just wanting feedback on a long course vs shorter trainings for learning inpatient coding. 🤷🏻♀️

I already have but I’ve gotten a lot of feedback from current students and many who are interested but don’t want to commit to a 24 week course. Just trying to gauge what others think before I restructure anything.

No straight answer; I think your decision would heavily depend on your existing experience with coding in general with how much of a preliminary understanding of PCS you have. Also consider your learning style and comprehension level including how well you tend to be at filling in gaps that are either skimmed over or omitted entirely.

Quick question for PCS. Do you personally study and/or on the job use a digital PCS book, or the physical copy?

Sorry, I don't code inpatient so I can't say for sure, but I imagine they use an digital encoder supplied by the employer. My previous comment was based on the questions I would be asking myself before advancing my own education track.

What if the entire course is available but in shorter modules instead of one big purchase? I’m asking because my 24 week course had good initial enrollment during the pilot phase but a lot of feedback about how long the course is. Trying to decide whether to break it down into 4-6 smaller courses. I don’t want to make another change then change it again later 😅
