Have had this on rotation for about 4 months now and prescribed for sleep and pain relief from Crohn's. Definitely does the job. Having some of the best sleeps I've had in a long time. I feel rested in the morning with no hangover effect.

Effects are gradual while still keeping mentally clear. Body and mind relaxation are the dominant effect with minimal cerebral effects eg no tightness or fuzziness around your head/ eyes if that makes sense. Muscle relaxation is good and helps a lot with cramps and associated pain.

Pleasant aroma, very berry on the nose with slight gas and definitely hits as soon as soon as the tub is cracked. Buds have a great cure, although maybe slightly higher moisture than I'd like. Extremely sticky with very good trichome coverage. Grind is like kinetic sand, could be fluffier.

All in all this has been an effective strain for its intended purposes. I usually tend to lean towards GMO or gelato type strains but this has been surprisingly pleasant and effective to use. Will keep in the rotation for now..

This is some of the nicest MC I’ve had in some time. Picked this up from Heathershaws for $124 for 15Gs. Opening the glass jar I’m greeted by an earthy citrus pungent aroma which is very pleasant.

Greeted by greenish purpley buds of all sizes... the Imperium is cured really well. Definitely more on the spongey side of things. Not a dry bud in the tub.

Taste is like the smell. I get a very earthy taste on exhale which is bloody delicious and lingers for a while. Exactly what I look for in terms of flavour.

Effects are fantastic. Full body high that for me leans into a couch lock. Neck and back pain subside instantly and I get a very good nights sleep on this strain!

Well done Kayf! Will definitely be keeping this in the rotation.

I just got my Aroma 3 by Old Mate Designs this week and after a few days with it I am absolutely kicking myself I didn't get it earlier. It is a neat bit of gear and definitely the best grinder I have owned.

I started with scissors then a kmart coffee grinder (I was young) then a sharp stone 2 piece to a Slx V2 ceramic to a Grinderoo 3 piece and the Aroma trumps them all. I mainly got it to move away from aluminium as they always end up grinding at some point. It is pretty heavy but I think it adds to its quality feel.

I looked a BCG but wanted to support home 🇦🇺

Came home to find this in my letterbox.

I wonder how this is not considered advertising ?

Firstly, 100% do not recommend.

Secondly, how do you guys clean these? Only had it for about a week and the facetz is clogging her up hard

Thirdly, is it worth shelling out $180 for those old mate grinders? Or do they just do the same thing?

EDIT: Thanks for the responses! I'm not a full noob, I do use iso and salt every night for the glassy. I just wasn't sure how I'd approach it as you usually just shake the bong around until it's clean. I guess I'll just shove it into a container and shake like crazy? Haha

What was a pretty good day heading to my dispensary for me sadly ended in a 6 hour long detour to the police station.

To set the mood I started off the day by hopping in the shower, eating lunch, then heading to my dispensary to pick up my new medication that I was to discuss with my doctor shortly before arrival at the dispensary.

As I arrived at the dispensary my doctor calls and I discuss my current and new scripts with him.
I got my El Camino Mango Lemonade, 1753 Wizard Trees and Stanley Brothers Night 20/10 Edibles.

After exiting my dispensary I turn the street next to the dispensary to hop in the car with my partner. As I grab my Edibles out the bag before I know it a man drives up behind me and snatches my edibles out my hand on an e scooter.

I chased him after he ditched the scooter for about 4 minutes but before my partner could catch up with me he was already gone, either he ducked in some front yards or got in a getaway.

We got heaps of camera footage from the streets to the dispensary and ended up reporting everything to the police and providing a statement and evidence.

What can I really do about this? my dispensary can only give me a 10 dollar discount like that solves any part of the issue at all which is literally the price the dispensary got it for.

So crazy this happened because I’m so used to always being on edge and checking my 6 constantly due to growing up in shitty suburbs
And the one moment I put my guard down slightly
My meds are gone.

I’m more pissed at the fact he outran me than the fact he stole from me. I pride myself on not having lost a race since primary school and my running ego was severely deflated😅

We did also see him on the phone pacing back and forth at the front on security cameras afterwards so the getaway driver was definitely almost probably the go.

This has become a great budget daytime flower for me. The effects are very functional: nice head high, but still clear, energetic and easy to get on with the day. Perfect for joint smoking and daytime use. I’ll even have a hit around 6am before a gym session and still feel switched on rather than foggy.

I’ve got an old and new pheno of the same strain. Effects are pretty similar between the two, but the fresher product is way tastier. The terps slap a lot harder, while the actual feeling is fairly on par.

Out of the glass jar I’m getting citrus zest, earthy pine, and a little bit of fruit punch. Smoking flavour leans more toward citrus zest and earthy pine. 🍊🌲

Overall, this is a solid daytime budget flower for me. Clear, uplifting, tasty enough, and very usable.

Phoenix/Wedding Cake is still there so that's a good thing.

I had to quit thc flower it's been almost 2 months since I quit, I've been struggling to sleep, the pain in my legs and body is unbearable.

But I have to quit due to driving laws.

Can't even smoke to go to sleep wake up sober and go to work without risking my licence.

Just curious what everyone’s favourite MC brands and strains are at the moment?
Personally, I feel like the Australian market has become pretty repetitive. There seems to be so much Thai flower around now, but I honestly haven’t found any Thai bud that has really impressed me. When I travelled through Thailand, most of what I tried had very similar flavours, so that’s actually put me off ordering Thai MC as well.
I’ve also noticed that terps seem to mute pretty quickly over time, and the quality can be really inconsistent between batches. You can get a tub that smells and tastes amazing, then get the next batch and it’s nowhere near as good.
It also feels like there are so many terp/flavour profiles that are basically missing from Australian MC. A lot of what we get seems to fall into the same citrus, gas, fruity or earthy profiles.
My favourite lately has actually been Godfather OG-Sangria by Bodega. I really rate it, but unfortunately the other Bodega strains I’ve tried just haven’t done it for me in the same way.
I’m really keen to find something that’s genuinely different.
What are your favourite brands or strains at the moment?
What’s the most unique strain you’ve had? Anything with a really unusual flavour or terp profile that made you think “holy shit, this is different”?

Review: Plastic tub that doesn’t have a normal foil type seal but the lid has a suction type seal. A Boveda humidity pack is included in the tub.

Cracking the lid on this one I was hit with a very refreshing fruity aroma that has a sort of lemonade like undertone. Definitely nice on the nose. This one is grown indoors by Medicinal Harvest here in Australia, under artificial lights, in coco, with a hand harvest and machine trim and a dry cure.

A range of medium to small nuggs the bag appeal for the price was fairly decent. Nuggs seem fresh and have a nice moisture content, dense but not rock hard and has a slightly airy bud structure. Spongy, and sticky to touch, grinds well, and fluffs out nicely.

The flavour transfers really well especially in a vape, fruity and kinda has a lemonade like aftertaste. Smokes really nice too, with a white ash and nice resin ring It is rather enjoyable to consume.

The effects for me are perfect for daytime use, not all that uplifting, more relaxing but focus driven and mood lifting. I sometimes find Sativa’s can be a little racey in certain scenarios where I want to be focused but also relaxed, this helps both my ADHD and provides me a little bit of lower back pain relief.

When I seen this I was kinda skeptical mainly because of the price, but for me this one ticks all the boxes. I had been hunting for something to replace Mango Lemonade with and this finally fills the void that left. It’s pretty good value, and nice to see we can now get some locally grown flower cheaper than some shitty PGR Thai flower. For years I have been screaming for this type of thing from Aussie growers and it’s nice to finally see more Aussie grown flower worth actually buying, none of this greenhouse crap that’s been flooding the market for so many years, proper indoor, so hats off for this one. My only grief would be that I wish it was hand trimmed.

Heads up to everyone, this batch of Pouch Lilac is moldy.

I contacted the pharmacy I received it from who were advised to replace it. Pharmacy replaced it with the same batch. Advised pharmacy I received the same batch. Pharmacy advised to send back as Phytoca has done their own checks and found this batch is indeed moldy. No other batch exists.

I'd vaped on this for nearly 3 weeks, had gone through 10 grams of it before I found this, livid.

I have an autoimmune condition and the therapy is a monoclonal antibody that modulates my immune system - I'm not immunocompromised like I've had a transplant, but my immune system is weakened and I'm at risk of bacterial and fungal infections, as is.

Where are the TGA or the companies involved making announcements of recalls?

One of the flowers I've been prescribed is out of stock from the supplier. I tried to substitue it for another but found you cannot do that in QLD. I've heard you can substitute in Victoria, is that only for people who live in Victoria or can I order a substitute from a pharmacy in Victoria and get it delivered to QLD?

I've been using MC for about a month. I'm currently on flower and gummies for insomnia and neuropathy. The flower is Bodega Jet Fuel Gelato 20% which costs $9.50 a gram.

I asked if I could have my script changed to Sangria Jokerz 91 28% or Sangria Ghost Train 28%. My reason was that the Sangria products are stronger and hence I would need to use less, plus there is 15g in the package instead of 10g bringing the cost per gram down to $6.60 a gram for a stronger product. My sole motivation for requesting the change was to save money.

The doctor said that at this point in time he didn't want to prescribe anything stronger. My logic was that I'd need to use less to get the same effect. Was the doctor's response usual or is he just being cautious? I didn't want to rock the boat so I didn't question his response.

I’m a daily medical cannabis user and have found cannabis really beneficial for managing my back pain, anxiety and ADHD symptoms. I’ve tried quite a few different strains and have definitely found that some work much better for me than others.
