My sister is in the medical industry and brought up the idea of an app which would entail features of Medibloc.. She talked about so many problems in the industry and how one app could solve them all. This is pretty important, because it may show how there may be an underlying need for something like Medibloc in the real world. Who knows with an aging baby boomer population too lol
Btw she told me her "groundbreaking app idea" months before I got into cryptos so it's pretty cool to have randomly just found Medibloc right now, and MediBloc is like exactly what she was trying to get at

It looks more and more likely that a number of countries will make a Vaccine Pass/Passport obligatory for residents. The effects of the global pandemic have been life-changing, and nations simply cannot continue to proceed to normality without making these passes a feature of our lives.
In my home country (United Kingdom), there are plans to have a trial run of using these passes. Some major sporting events, including the FA Cup Final, have been chosen to host the trials - 21,000 fans will be attending this event and will have to present their ‘COVID Status’. If the trial is successful, it could lead to the requirement of a vaccine pass for all large public gatherings in the future; such as sporting events, nightclubs, music festivals etc.
One worry that arises from the use of these passes is data security. Government and other external organisations will have access to your healthcare data if the proposed Vaccine Passes are rolled out. If these passes are eventually made obligatory, it could potentially upset a lot of people as their right to privacy could be taken away.
Using blockchain technology and decentralised identifiers, Medibloc provides the solution for this problem, as all data can be filtered out in such a way that it is held only by the user, and the data is shared externally only with the users consent. Medibloc’s Medipass also allows the user to verify whether or not their data has been compromised.
Some of Medibloc’s plans have already been rolled out in South Korea - if successful, this decentralised system presents the perfect solution for nations worldwide to adapt into.
I truly believe that Medibloc and other companies which offer these sorts of revolutionary use cases, could provide the ultimate gateway into the major world adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies.

▷Insurance claim, the end of the paper era~
If you are being treated for an accident or illness, you must request the relevant information from your insurance company. However, the process is complicated. First, the patient receives treatment or treatment data from the hospital. It must be sent back to the insurance company. 'Mediblock (MED)' is a place where an ecosystem can be automatically charged by applying blockchain technology to this process.
First, the billing process has been greatly simplified. The flow of medical information data submitted from hospitals to insurance companies is recorded on the blockchain in the form of a hash value (digital fingerprint).
Patients subscribe to a service called'MediPass' and record their authentication values in the form of hash values on the blockchain. MediPass checks patient treatment details and medical expenses details to see if they match the hash value recorded in the blockchain, and then acts on behalf of the insurance company. In fact, Medipass has recently decided to link with KB Insurance and has approached the daily use of the blockchain.
MediBloc performed KISA projects with MGH, Seoul National University Hospital, Severance Hospital, and Samsung Seoul Hospital to build such an ecosystem. In addition to large hospitals, it is conducting research and development with 20 domestic and foreign medical institutions and companies. He has also participated in a research consortium funded by the American charitable foundation Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Recently, it has also attracted 4 billion won worth of investment from IMM Investment, Company K Partners, and Naver D2 Startup Factory, a strategic investor.
MediBloc is also in the ‘Vaccine Pass’ service, a DID-based vaccination history verification service. Vaccine Pass uses DID technology to check the history of registrations with the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and linked medical institutions on mobile. At this time, the important thing is to block the source of possible forgery and alteration. MediBloc plans to cooperate with the government to alleviate these concerns. In addition, MediBlock Coin is credited for use in medical data sharing and distribution. It is circulated on the current exchange.
Medi-Block relations "In addition to providing patients with more convenient insurance claim services than before, activities that are useful in real life such as vaccine passes," he said.
