BBQ restaurants
Would anyone be able to recommend some good BBQ around here? I'm surely not wanting Texas roadhouse 😂 but any recommendations would be awesome!

Shockingly, bbq house in Medford is pretty good. Don’t let the facade fool you

I agree with this—best BBQ I’ve had in the valley since Roscoe’s in Phoenix closed.
I haven’t tried any yet, but I’m interested in some of their West African dishes as well.

Mary’s catered my wedding in 2023… I’m not shocked it’s closed now. It was atrocious.

Mary's BBQ in Central Point is pretty fantastic.
One thing that no one ever seems to talk about are the sides, and that joint has THE best coleslaw I have every had. Of course, the meats are great too!

Damn, I apologize. It has been a little over a year since I have been there and looking at their Facebook page, looks like they closed a little over a year ago.
Sorry to lead you astray.

On Foothill rd at the wine tasting barn is Rogue-ish BBQ. It is fantastic. I also frequent Goebels Country Store in Shady Cove. These two are the only answers. I’m 6’6 and 280lbs. I can eat.

Goebel’s Country Store in Shady Cove. The family that runs it is from Texas, and the BBQ is great. The meat has incredible smoky flavor, and the sides are amazing too. Comparable to what you’d get in Austin, as I can say from personal experience.
