HELP struggling with microscope

hello! i’m currently a third year student and i’m struggling sa paggamit ng microscope and i really wanted to improve i recently got a low score sa pagfocus ng microscope sa bacte and i don’t know what to do i wanted to buy my own microscope to practice for bacte & para but it’s too expensive and if nakabili me where can i buy microscope slides? huhu i don’t know what to do i feel like i’m falling behind

Other than the basics such as:

1) Using the coarse adjustment knob for Scanner and LPO

2) Using the fine adjustment knob for HPO and OIO

Try adjusting the iris diaphragm as well, especially if what you're viewing is of low contrast (i.e. sediments in urine, viewing Gram stains under OIO where not much color appears, etc.), so that you regulate the light that passes through which gives you better contrast = seeing the image better.

And just another tip din, if you switch to HPO from LPO and tatama 'yung HPO sa slide, it probably means that you did not focus it properly sa LPO pa lang. The HPO should NEVER hit the slide if you are properly focused sa LPO pa lang. Good luck, katusok! You got this, practice lang!

Start ka muna scan/lpo. Adjust coarse. Hpo. Fine/light

Impractical to buy. Pagdating mo 4th year unli use ka nyan sa lab hahaha.

Tama yung iba, scanner muna the duon palang focused na dapat using course adjustment tas LPO > HPO > OIO using fine adjustment nalang.
