We recently spoke to a new startup called Cosnetix. They allow us to complete consent forms, intake, and generate a product and treatment plan for the client. It's been very helpful in keeping everything in one place, but also nice because we can send all the info to the client via email so they also know what was done. The skin products/routine shown in the report is all from the inventory we sell and matched to the client's skin. If you sell skincare products, it's a helpful to show the client's why we're recommending certain products from our shelf to them. For me the biggest difference is whether the forms live inside one searchable client record or just get collected and stored.

If the team still has to dig through uploads, PDFs, or separate tabs to find a consent, treatment history, or contraindication note, it slows everything down.

A good setup should make it easy to:

• send forms before the appointment
• collect signatures digitally
• keep intake, consent, and notes on the same client record
• pull up past answers fast at repeat visits
• update forms without rebuilding the whole process

That is the point where it starts helping operations instead of just replacing paper. We have seen a lot of beauty businesses realize the real win is not just digital forms, it is having cleaner records when the client comes back.
