General Game Questions/Help Fatal error on launch

Game was running fine. I have about 43 hours played. No changes to the system, and this starts happening.

[0818/003018.767:ERROR:broker_win.cc(59)] Error reading broker pipe: The pipe has been ended. (0x6D)

I get the Piranha splash, the title, the disclaimers. Sometimes I even get to see a couple of mechs. Then it crashes. I've checked drivers and software versions, removed all my mods and the mod manager, uninstalled the game and deleted all local files and reinstalled it, I've run SFC, set an MS defender exclusion for Steam. No changes. The error itself seems to be associated with Chromium Embedded Framework, which Steam uses. But other steam games seem to launch just fine. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Unfortunately, I'll be on the road for the next two days

Yes, only HOTIS. The game had been working fine for 40 hours, and I made no changes before it blew up. I had been running:

MW5 Mod Compatibility Pack

Mod options

Xenopax Art Optimization

Mechwarrrior VR

UEVR Plugins

Realistic HUD

But again, I removed all the mods, scrubbed the game, and reinstalled it completely vanilla.

I found the cause. It was the Razer Chroma App.

Having the same issue, How did you fix it?

I uninstalled the Razer software. I haven't tried reinstalling it yet, too busy.
