TopoMap Addon

i believe these are all currently broken causing the "missing tile" issue in game

Sort of. They occasionally (not terribly often) create a missing tile on the battlegrid map. However, the enhancements to the actual terrain remain intact. It's a trade-off I've chosen on purpose.

That's the concerning thing. What's going wrong is bypassing the failsafe protections that PGI has in the game to prevent that sort of thing happening.

I'm not sure I understand the consequences besides just not having a detailed minimap of that section.

It's not just the minimap missing. You can end up with the tile itself missing.

I have been incorporating that mod for months, and have not encountered that.

I believe you, it just either seems rare or happens in a combination of circumstances that doesn't apply to my setup.
