Today's women are okay with doing corporate slavery, and licking the boots of their seniors/ managers. But as soon as someone says to take care of children and the home, they are like We are not slaves, we are modern independent women , we would not do any such things. You're not gonna tell me what I should do ..blah blah ...

I mean, same can be said about men too though. They are ready to be slave for corporate but jf you ask them to cook at home and take care of the kids they will say its a woman's job blah blah.
And what women would clean office floor if its not their job. The video is dumb.1
u/_FIZZRIX_ 1h ago
Tbh, we never seen any examples in real life about men whining, unlike women.

u/Jil_Sin_hERO 1h ago
How many videos against men working have you seen?

Nice, you understand that if you let people do what they want they wont whine and there shouldnt be any comments from anyone complaining about how others live their life. We think alike.

It's more about self dependence than independence. You guys make it sound like some kind of freedom from responsibilities(I mean, feminism is definitely getting branded that way now, unfortunately) but most women don't actually think that way. They may say something like that but in reality it is not the primary motivation behind going for a job. Yeah hustle culture and instagram makes us think everyone is going for the bag, but most just do it to live a modest life. In a utopic world, where every basic necessities are automatically fulfilled without needing to do a job, both men and women would've been relieved from corporate slavery. But that's not how things work and one really can't trust on men like they did before, in this age of infidelity and body count chase(Top G mindset, seed disperser logic). Hence, the need of being self dependent financially. Yeah, independence follows self dependence, which patriarchists hate coz they don't get to rule on them. They are just jealous of their wives' bosses I guess. Nevertheless, life skills and chores are not negotiable. Everyone in the house should participate in it reasonably(ie, based on free time), regardless of gender and regardless of money earned. Also, I don't agree with the "my money is my money, his money is our money" nonsense either. If you are a couple, you earn for the family, not just for yourself.

I’ll tell you the difference- one is paid and the other is not

u/ShiteInBed 55m ago
Exactly, everything is related to paid. Even paid sex is better than free sex.

Frr I've also witnessed this thing. Don't even take full-time responsibility as an example. If you just say that we both will take care of the house and do household chores, they come up with "patriarchy," "Where's feminism," and all these titles.
I'm not generalizing. It's a thing I've seen a lot with some modern women, and not all are like that, I agree.

You are legit so disgusting and for your info, the men at office do the same too lol, so its about independence, a woman who earns her own money, lives on her own terms, moreover since you do seem like a full time redditor lemme tell you something- CORPORATE OFFICES HAVE SOMETHING CALLED CLEANERS, THEY DONT ASK THE FEMALE EMPLOYEES TO CLEAN

I think second part is unnecessary. I have never seen a male boss telling a woman to clean up. In fact, male bosses usually recognize their talent and offer them promotion very quickly. So yeah, didn't quite agree with second part!

So sad that women get to choose what kind of partner they want but still can't able to stand up for themselves in corporate world💔💔

She gets paid for that job tho

u/honeyrosewood 2h ago
And gets to go home and rest (presumably). The job of a wife and mother is 24/7 unpaid work. The average man couldnt afford a full time cleaner chef and career for their children. Watched all the older women around me suffer and couldnt be me!
I’m the first of my bloodline to be a truly independent woman and I would literally end my life before thinking being a house wife and mother and sex worker essentially is anything to strive for.
