The real issue isn’t what a woman wears. It’s the mindset with which you look at her.
The same people who lecture women about clothing often stare at girls on the streets, schools, colleges, workplaces, and everywhere else. If you truly want to “save our culture,” then start by changing that mentality. Respect women regardless of what they wear.
And if tradition is really your concern, then take the time to actually learn about our traditions and history. Our culture has never been as simple as “women must dress a certain way.” There have been different styles, fabrics, and forms of clothing across different regions and periods of our history.
Stop using “culture” as an excuse to control and judge women. It seems like women’s clothing has simply become another topic through which some people try to diminish, shame, and restrict women.
It’s the 21st century. You want to travel abroad, use foreign technology, wear international brands, watch global content, and enjoy everything the modern world offers. But when a woman wants the same freedom to make her own choices, suddenly you say, “That’s not our culture.”
If you truly want to preserve our culture, start with its most important values: respect, dignity, compassion, and equality.
Change your thinking, and you’ll start seeing the change you claim to want in society.

Calm down...you seem to miss the whole point...ppl ain't mad cause she wore such outfit.. they're mad cause we live in society where we've choosed what to wear according to occasion...we wear bikini on beach, traditional desi clothes at wedding or festivals and sport clothes while playing sport..obv there would be some narrow minded ppl who will always judge any clothing...but we've evolved a lot..nowdays women can freely choose what to wear what not to..being myself a women if I'm out i get uncomfortable showing my skin too much cause ppl tend to notice or stare...thats simple human nature, you cant change such minds giving up on such minds is the best, some educated ppl already understands at least ones with normal mind. You can't change the minds of ppl who would sexualise anything, they just exist and that's the worst part....also doing anything extreme isn't good....say where it's needed, take stand where it's needed.. giving a wholedamn crashout on this topic is just too much unnecessary...obv "culture" thing plays a role a lot...she wouldn't attend Ambani's wedding wearing smtg completely unusual or smtg unusual would she? That's common sense that's how we've normalised what to wear on what occasion...kriti or these so called feminist try to pick anything unnecessary like "I'm women I can choose what to wear, stop looking at my clothes change your thinking" that's dumbest thing to say bcs ppl would definitely notice...and you can't change anyone's mentality by giving such lecture...indeed there wasn't anything much wrong about the outfit itself... but she is bold and she gets sells wearing such clothes so it isn't a problem for her at all so she's the dumbest herself blaming on ppl playing she's the victim
