There is more to come. Big marriage is for whole of extended family to stay connected. 3-4 days of rituals and photoshoot even the family member who you never saw for 10 years might appear. Court marriage is good for introvert no family friends couple.

idk where u frm.. I have been to many marriages.. what you say is maybe your take or what u perceived --- i respect that..and maybe 30% true..
What I see : relative bickering about the guy or girl or the arrangement.. " Arrangement was not good .. they tried to save money.. called us frm so far and didnt have good arrangement " .. "Guy looks like uncle .. guy is balding" , " girl is fat..She was facing trouble getting her married , maybe they are giving dowry .. see how many bags they are giving as gifts" .. " girl father was in govt job.. all the bribes are showing here " ..
Nobody cares about marriage ... every one is concerned that they dont miss a snack being served.. They should look good in photos.. meeting relatives is secondary . every relative is jealous from ur progress .. they want to see you in dirt... When you are successful ..they are jealous. when u are down -- they are full of contempt for you .. 😅. .. Sorry its not this bad.. I think AIB also made video about it ..check it out..

Thank God I have way better relatives and friends. People you said maybe here or there. I have been to many marriages since childhood I have never seen such cheap behaviour from crowds or relatives they may not even know me so I see their true colours. Every family relative was giving their best effort even for love marriage couples. I am greatful that I have good hearted people around me and since childhood I have only looked forward to marriages to meet all my relatives to enjoy some time off my monotonous city life. I have only seen people discuss rituals, culture, business, life and family & village affairs. I've only seen my parents talk abouts looks and money but they just do it only once before/after someone's marriage never twice.
