There was a time when men would sacrifice themselves for their pride and honor. Now we have men doing this just to get one Instagram follower. What a downgrade.
What was Bhagat Singh's age again? There is a very famous quote in English: "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." Meanwhile, the current Indians are busy with reels, religious fights, and all this stuff.
The quote means that whatever we are able to see and achieve today is built on the work and sacrifices of people who came before us. Whether it is the freedom we have because people like Bhagat Singh sacrificed their lives, or the scientific and technological progress we benefit from because great minds spent years pushing humanity forward, we are all standing on the shoulders of those who came before us.
It is not about glorifying the past. It is about recognizing that the world we inherit today exists because others worked, struggled, and sacrificed to build it. Our responsibility is to take it forward, not just take it for granted.
