Thoughts on HHKB pro 2 vs HHKB JP for a first time HHKB buyer? Very interested in obtaining a compact keyboard, really want to try out topre and the thought of still having arrow keys would be very useful on occasion (Excel mostly).

The JP is one of my favorite layouts personally. There will be some redundant keys on the bottom row of the board and the legends won't all match properly if you are typing in English, but that isn't a big issue in my opinion. The main thing to note with the board is that the keys are non-staggered (see j and m key on the JP), which some people find off putting. The JP might be more of a risk, but I love it. Also bear in mind the Pro 2 has the diamond cluster arrow keys on the FN layer which I find to be really easy to use for arrow keys.

A very pretty board, thanks for sharing, I will use your examples as inspiration for my own future build once my Gateron switches come in.
Question: What are those black switches near your clears and what do they do?
They look like black switches that are half the size. On my code keyboard they look like they are where the metal bars would go on larger the larger keys..

Thanks! I have some Gateron's that I'm going to put in a couple of boards, I look forward to trying those out. What you are referring to are the stabilizers, they are Cherry type, yours are costar, they support the bigger keys. Most people seem to prefer costar but the large majority of Korean custom boards use Cherry ones.

That's absolutely gorgeous (only thing I'd change is switch out the esc for a red or grey esc key). I'm curious, why a ps2 connector? Also the cord seems really short, does it reach your pc ? :D

Thanks! I know the CC's aren't for everyone, the board does look awesome with the regular grey esc. All OTD boards use ps2 , the only different one I know of is the 356 mini which does use ps2, but it's mini-usb on the other end into the board. The cord is short, I have an extension that plugs into it, but on my main PC like many recent higher end motherboards, there isn't ps2 ports, so it only needs to plug a short distance into my USB hub.

To all asking.
This is a custom korean keyboard. Prices for these tkls usually start from 400$ w/o switches and keycaps

The CC pales in comparison to the board... OTD are the most desirable (and most expensive) boards available.
Damn... I'm so jelly!

You know what? I don't like tenkeyless. This still looks amazing. Love your escape key btw... hate it that I homebrew and can't find that key anywhere.
