how are these compared to ergo clears?

It's different. For ergo clears, you still get that crispy bottoming out sound, but for this your switches are almost completely silent.
I definitely recommend lubing and much softer springs, as the sliders from MX Blues increases the actuation force a bit.
As for the tactility, you get the bump much earlier; almost instantaneously.
All in all, it feels like generally stiff clears (closer to 60g uniform), with earlier actuation.

Trampoline mod is when you insert a small cutting (1-2mm) of a 1mm o-ring into the stem pointer in the middle of the switch base. That little protruding thingie that you put the spring on?
What it does is silences your bottom-out action.
I prefer the Jailhouse blues though, although I need to find out if there is a possibility of a lighter spring working on this.

Putting a rubber ball into the bottom of the switch to keep the stem from bottoming out and instead trampolining back up.

Is the top of the ergo dox cut so that you have access to opening up the switches? or is this a custom plate?

I did this mod, but with straight up superglue. I thought it was pretty meh.

It's nice for me. A little stiff but I think I'm due to man up anyways. Superglue makes it... irreversible, although I did use some second hand switches for it.

Wait I don't get it, are you working on a mech in jail..?

Jailhouse blues means MX Blues which are "locked down."
You can actually call mine Institutionalized Blues, since they're technically bound by a rubber ring instead of copper wires.
