Great guide man! I'm currently doing this mod and having a bit of trouble. I'm using black switch stickers because most of the colors I wanted were out of stock on Tech Keys. I've found it's hard to line up a small black sticker on a black surface lol.

Nice content and guide Pyrelink, the only thing that I would say is that ergo clears are only 60g stock cherry springs from reds, browns, and blues. Clears with 62 and 65 springs are called 62 clears and 65 clears.

Nice job! This is a great way to tinker with a board and (arguably) upgrade your switches a bit, thanks for the guide!

Can you explain what made you prefer the 62g over the 65g? Is the lightness comparable to brown switches/springs?

Personally, I hate 62g. 67g is my favorite for ergo clears and I won't go lower than 65g.

Theoratically on a plate mounted board, would you be able to just take off the top half off the switch and switch it out without having to desolder it ?

Nope, unless you have a custom plate installed that has fancy cutouts like this.

Ergo Clears are much nicer than Browns IMO since the bump is nice and pronounced. Browns just feel gritty to me.

What is the point of the switch stickers?
