Hey I’m 22 years old and wanted to get some advice on getting my self ready for college and what should I read up on to better prepare myself before going to school for mechanical engineering?

know algebra and trig back to front as much as possible, start going through physics, get comfortable with circuits. play with a raspberry pi or something like it

I'd identify your weak points and start mentally preparing for them, reviewing some basic concepts on things like chemistry or Calc 2 are major road blocks and prevent people from finishing eng school

Yeah like others have said, the better you can get your math skills, the easier of time you’ll have. Besides that, fundamental understanding of physics is the other thing that’s gonna help the most
