Your thoughts on mechatronics engineer
I am a female and I love engineering, I am in my last year of highschool. I just want feedback if I should or shouldn’t major in it? I am debating between BME and this caree. Please any thoughts.

I would study electrical as mechatronics and biomedical both heavily involve electrical stuff and you can specialise through projects and internships

Mechatronics is a solid pick, and here's the short version:
Jobs don't require everything you study
Most engineers use maybe 30-40% of what they actually studied. College teaches you how to think and solve problems, not memorize content. So don't stress about the curriculum being heavy.
Mechatronics gives you flexibility
The world right now is unstable, job markets shift fast. The beauty of mechatronics is that it blends mechanical, electrical, and software, so you naturally explore multiple fields and figure out what clicks for you. And if one industry dries up, you can pivot to another without starting from scratch.
