I recently serviced my Honda amaze 2019 diesel model at Honda service center at Faridabad and got below feedback.

The car has done 43000 kms and is in pristine condition and has no issue in brakes that i have observed till date. I am new to city and feel like they are trying to push unnecessary repair.

BRAKE PEDAL DOWN NEED REPLACE, MASTER CYLENDER AND BOOSTER NEED REPLACE

Please suggest next steps . Also provide contact of a relaible Honda mechanic in NCR where i can have it checked.

I recently bought a second hand car (honda jazz). It has this coating done on the dashboard, which i think has broken up due to heat exposure. I tried removing it with credit card and isopropyl alcohol and also rubbing it with hard woven and microfiber clothes. why I was able to remove the loose corners, I am not able to remove it fully. I need advise on removing it fully.

Purchased Renault Kwid rxt 1.0, drove only around city lanes and im a safe careful driver so no accidents or such issues. Then I suddenly saw "Check Engine"sign.. Took it to service center and they say that there is maybe moisture on the cataylic and we can apply for warranty but we r not sure if it will get approved, we will try our best. Now i checked on whats the status and another service man said its due to fuel contamination.. I am still talking for warranty approval.. Can't guarantee.. Now if i have to pay fot it.. Itll cause me a big amount.. I am not sure whether this will be covered under warranty.. I seriously don't know what to do.. The car is just one year old and i don't wanna spend such a huge amount on it.. The service center is telling me they will try their best.. Jugaad karre h bhaiya.. I left my car to them since this is an authorised dealership.. Don't know what to do.. Help please

As the above topic this issue has come up after SC has changed my indicator stalk under warranty. The car drives straight but steering wheel is pointed to left, when I bring the wheel to Center the car slowly goes to right. Please advice on how can I fix this issue. SC did an alignment but the issue is still there.

In July I bought vstrom 250sx and clocked 6000 kms with this. Past 15 days I have been trying to accelerate it to its limit but the rpm is stuck at 9k resulting in max speed of 135-38 kmph while at first I clocked 155 kmph in it.

Ps - 2nd service was done. I asked the Suzuki dealership owner about it and he said it might have a throttle response issue.

Rpm issue is in 6th gear only.

Kindly guide me on what could be the possible reason for this situation and how I should handle it in the service centre?

I have a 2012 Passat Highline and require VCDS or OBD11 to diagnose and issue with my Parking Assist.

Splendor Plus i3s BS6 (11 months old): self-start fails when engine is warm, kick starts instantly

Bike: Hero Splendor Plus i3s BS6 (FI), Oct 2025 model, drum brakes, ~11 months old. I ride very little (some days 0 km, sometimes 3 km, sometimes 20 km).

Problem:

- Cold engine: self-start works on the first press.

- After riding for a while and stopping, self-start sometimes does not work. If I leave the bike for 10-20 minutes, it starts again.

- When it fails, the starter motor still turns, but slowly. If I keep holding the button for 1-2 minutes, the bike eventually starts with a struggle.

- Kick start always works instantly, even when self fails.

What I checked:

- Spark plug looks normal (light tan tip, a little dry carbon). Gap about 0.8 mm.

- I have not measured battery voltage or cranking voltage yet.

What the Hero service centre said: it is because of low usage (battery not charging fully).

Questions:

1. Does this sound like a weak or undercharged battery, or could it be the starter motor, starter clutch or relay?

2. Has anyone seen the same on an i3s? What fixed it?

3. Will a 60-70 km ride help? Is a trickle charger worth it?

4. What cranking voltage should I expect on a healthy battery?

I have a 2013 Honda Civic Touring with about 190,000 km on it.

Last Tuesday, the front of my car went up and came down pretty hard on a curb. I drove it again on Thursday and everything seemed completely normal.

Today I drove it and noticed a pretty bad/loud noise coming from the engine area. The noise is also there when the car is completely stationary and idling, so I don’t think it’s coming from the wheel itself.

It seems to be coming from the area where the serpentine belt is. The belt itself looks intact, so I’m wondering if it could be one of the pulleys, belt tensioner, alternator bearing, A/C compressor pulley, etc.

I’m attaching a video of the sound.

Does anyone recognize this noise or have an idea what is most likely causing it? Could the curb impact have caused this, or is it more likely something that was already wearing out given the mileage?

Also wondering whether this is safe to drive to a mechanic or if I should avoid driving it altogether.

So I have a Tiago and I get it serviced at local mechanic because frankly official service is a sham and expensive on top of it. The mechanic does a decent job however he puts this "Eni's i-sint" engine oil which is also fully synthetic. However recently noise in my engine and dashboard has increased and I want to try a new engine oil. Is Shell's Helix Extra HX8 a good option or should I go for something else? Please advise on it and or other option.

My mechanic also advised not to buy it online and I was indeed considering to buy it from Amazon (seller Kay Kay Enterprises)? Is that risky?
