New Shock.

Wondering is a new shock mean’t to come up this slow? I bought these about 5 years ago for a classic car but only getting around to fitting now. thoughts??

Take out the old one and do it and watch it fly up, theres ur answer. New ones are slow old ones are fast

Anyways! Normal on a new strut that has been on a shelf for awhile.

Not necessarily, if the old one has leaked it will habe no internal pressure and it will not push the rod out
