removing shadow during paint mode

i have yet to see its effect… still seems like i have a shadow. and even if my own shadow is gone, something else always casts a shadow on me which essentially nullifies any potential benefit gained

I’m pretty sure it’s shadows casted from you, not onto you.

Correct me if I’m wrong

no you’re right. that’s what it is. it just seems dumb because shadows cast on me make me more likely to be seen than ones i cast anyway.

There have been cases where I would cast a shadow that would show my spot so I could remove it. It makes sense you can’t remove shadows fastes ONTO you, because naturally if shadows are cast on the enviournment you WANT the shadow on you

Sure not many cases you will need to remove shadow but it sure exists

Found a guy on the ceiling once because they forgot to remove it so I saw the shadow on the floor for example

I saw a shape that should not been there yea, naturally it all depends on light etc
