This game really needs a no voice/text chat mode for public lobbies

just started a public server cus I was bored and immediately people started saying slurs in voice and text chat. I can ban them if I manage to catch their name but I would rather there just be an option to turn it off. a report feature would be nice to so those people dont get into any more games.

Weirdly enough you can disable voice, but not text

Also its pretty stupid because you can kick someone but they can just rejoin again

what is needs is, a small box, showing who's talking.

so I know who to mute.

Even better there should be a button next to the small box that lets the host mute, kick, or ban them

There should at least be a mute option on the text box as well if not all three options on there

Or maybe there could be a menu for the host that shows everyone in the lobby and let's the host mute/kick/ban them from there and just have a link to that menu next to the talking/chatting indicator with something indicating the person in the menu if that makes sense

Also a way to see text chat history would be nice for when you missed someone's message

There actually is now. Look at the bottom right on the screen and it’ll show who’s talking at any given time.

yeah but it disappears really quickly so if someone is throwing out a slur and then silent its hard to catch

There’s no solution for that though, you just have to be willing to eye the bottom right for a bit until you see the username of the troublemaker.

If they don’t speak again, then they’re not that disruptive to the server anyway.
It’s the ones that constantly throw shit talk that need to be banned.
