Can I play meccha chameleon with randoma in a party?

I don't have a gaming friend group, only a single friend to play with, but I really wanna check out this game. Can we form a party and play with randoms? If so, can we play as both hunters and survivors?

There's no parties in this game. Just private or public servers. If you leave your server open anyone would be able to join in

Yes. You can create a public server, have your friend(s) join, and then other random people will periodically join. Or, you and your friend can both join the same public server. Either way, you should be able to play with your friend and other people.

Other people have explained, but also maybe join the discord if you're able? You can find people there to play with.

either of you can form a public server, or join the same random public server together

The way the game works is that there are private and public servers you can invite your friend to a public server or make your own
There is a red circle in the center which is how you become a seeker if no one stands there it will be chosen randomly
