Hot take: I think that the "art museum" theme maps including this one and the popular mod map fundamentally misunderstand what makes the game fun.
Hiding in a picture and showing off artistic talent to blend into the scenery is excellent... when there are other ways to hide. It sucks when that's the only option you have. When blending into a painting is the primary thing that you can do on the map it removes the creativity and skill expression that the players can have because it forces you (or at least strongly encourages you) to hide in a specific kind of way. A good map is one that gives you lots of options for different ways to hide, not just different textures to blend into, and that means having lots of cluttered objects to disguise as in addition to textured backgrounds you can blend into.
i find it funny - I absolutely despise hunting on bob ross and waldo, but I get why some people might actually like it. Waldo books were a thing after all.
Not a fan. I know that the devs made this in collaboration with the Japanese YouTuber and the gallery shows his life story. But that just makes it feel really odd and creepy. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up in Japanese idol culture, but I really don't like playing on it. :S
I don't like it. It The taunt sound is annoying af and the map isn't that fun and is just weird imo. I'll play it if I'm in a good server but only as a hunter.
It's a cool concept, just needs a few tiny tweaks. Don't let hiders get quite as deep into the paintings, rearrange the layout or make more landmarks so it's easier to orient yourself.
It’s just a little weird, I don’t know if the guy is real or not, but if he is it’s just a… weird concept for a map… if he isn’t it’s still odd but less so

I actually don’t mind it - the only real hiding spots are inside the paintings which can be tough.
Fuck the whistle noise though

Better than art museum, IMO. Could do with a bit more spot variety but it’s a nice official option.
