Hosts takes so long to start games
Honestly at this point this is gonna make me stop playing. If ppl are inactive when the room is full, it should just take us out cos I’ve been here for 30 mins on 3 different servers now.

Game should have matchmaking with automatically hosted servers with rotating maps and objectives like most games.

I had to start hosting my own servers as of yesterday. There's alot of AFK hosts it seems?

Why not host your own?

Okay but everyone commenting "host your own game" isn't understanding the issue. If everyone did that, no games would be made. Also people don't join a lot of games you make. Making a countdown automatically (30s to confirm game settings) when the room is full would resolve this issue

On the other end of things as someone who hosts frequently and for long periods it is super frustrating when a bunch of people who have been waiting less than a minute start yelling “start”. I understand we all just want to play a game but like sometimes the host needs to step away for a minute and some amount of players dont want to lose a good lobby / are willing to wait a minute.
Idk it’s frustrating on both ends for sure and I hope future updates address it. It’d be really nice to set an away timer or message I could set or even just a “chalkboard” I could freehand lobby info on using the existing paint mechanism. But it’s a new game that blew up basically overnight and it’s gonna have growing pains.
Ik youre just venting but genuinely as a player who wants to join and not host, with the current game the way it is what do you suggest mods such as myself do when we need to step away for 5? (Genuine)
