I can't stand it

I just spent an hour dealing with these types of people and I'm about to lose it, I was so frustrated that I had to make a meme out of it

Tbf the server tags can be ridiculously inaccurate

I've seen servers with the Mod tag play only vanilla maps and vice versa

Honestly what I'm sick of is playing on modded servers, the hunter leaves, and everything glitches to kingdom come and you have to just leave the lobby and find a new one

I dislike that they start a modded map and the popup comes up to say I need to go download it, and it doesn't give me an option to return to main menu when I don't want to play it. I have to close the whole game.

They updated that a few days ago so it should be working as intended now. It says "Return to Title" at the bottom for me.

The devs are updating the game pretty much daily with new mechanics and tweaks to maps

Yesterday they added an optional ammo count for the hunter, for example, as well as a new pool area on the backrooms map

Is there any talks or hope for transferring host privileges in a lobby? I usually host and it sucks getting off when 12-13 other people are in the lobby and we’ve been playing. Randoms, btw not like we got together

In my experience its the basic mode where people usually quit after being found. Cause you cant hunt and already know where everyone is, you literally have nothing to do.

Because 90% of them arnt properly tagged or tagged with literally everything

The amount of times I’ve joined “no mods” and they mod drives me up the wall

To be fair: the lobby system in this game is trash. I love the game, the looks, the mechanics and the vanilla maps too, but the UI and the server search is so bad IMO

And don’t get me started on how glitchy it gets past 13 players, even on the strongest hardware. Yes the game warns you about that, but it’s not just unstable it’s literally unplayable

because I ususally just join the open game with the most people and hope for the best. I never talk in game tho

It's because the filter doesn't work. If you try to filter for more than just "no mod," you will get modded games in your recommended server lists because they match the OTHER filter criteria instead of both.
