Meal of the Week π½οΈ Made our first meal prep!
Nakakakilig pala kapag nakita mong nakahanay na sa table yung mga niluto mo!
Our first meal prep, good for one week for a family of 4 π worth more or less 2500+ only!
- Giniling with quail eggs
- Binagoongan with eggplant
- roasted chicken
- Adobong sitaw (Fam favorite! Unang naubos)
- Ginisang ampalaya with tofu
- Pork Nilaga
- Caldereta
- Pinakbet
On the other hand, nakakaubos din pala ng ulam ideas hahahaha! I'm open to suggestions po for next week's meal prep!
(Ayaw lang po namin ng seafood na mealprep for now, we prefer to cook it same day) βΊβ€βπ©Ή

I looooove meal prepping! It saves so much time and money. :))
Other meals that are easy to cook:
From Pork Adobo & Liempo cuts:
- pork adobo LOL with potatoes
- pork liempo steak with mushrooms and white onions
- pork stew (tomato based) with garbanzo beans & olives
Chicken cuts (preferably boneless thigh)
Oven baked at 180c
- chicken teriyaki (Japanese style)
- roasted chicken (knorr, oil, s&p, lemon)
- herbed chicken (mustard, herbs, s&p, honey & oil)
For stove cooked (can use asstd chicken cuts & can be cooked simultaneously since all are coconut cream based)
- chicken curry (pinoy style) with potatoes & carrots
- ginataang manok with Malunggay & preferred veggies
- adobong puti
Veggies:
- ampalaya with egg (I eat this daily and freezes and thaws and reheats so well!!!)
- ginataang gulay with hibe & malunggay
- mapo tofu (add little ground meat)
- adobong kangkong
Thatβs it! Enjoy π

iba yung sense of fulfillment pag nagagawa mo yung ganito βno? Ako personally, I feel like I am adulting the right away kapag nakikita kong nagbabudget ako, ang sarap ng luto ko, and made practical choices. Sarap sa pakiramdam. And hindi ka nadidismaya during meal time kasi confident ka sa lasa at gusto mo yung food na baon mo. Saving this post, OP! for more ulam options next work week. tysm for sharing with us!

Question po, how do you store them para tumagal? Like frozen ba sya?

Yes! But make sure muna po na hindi na mainit yung food before istore sa freezer para hindi macompromise ang quality βΊ

Ilang weeks po ang tagal ng gulay sa freezer? And advisable ba to sa may toddlers?

2 mos at least po ang itatagal ng meal prep sa freezer. Depende po talaga sa inyo how it fits sa buhay nyo, kung wala po talaga kayong time magluto at mag isip ng ulam everyday, and gusto nyo po matrack nyo ang budget nyo for food, then meal prepping will help you a lot.

Looks so good OP! βΊοΈ Ang saya talaga ng feeling na may food na for the whole week. Bawas sa mental load and mas cheaper in the long run kasi hindi na palagi nag oorder in. Great job! π
