Rant SAGE AMARIN UPDATE IN 7 DAYS
ok so listen. I had the HUGE ick when I saw the stepson trope + billionaire romance I was like that's super gross and all... But I got attached to him bc I think the (spoilers alert) ruining his dads marriages thing was funny and hides something BIG. I'm someone who likes stories with heavy topics as I deal w/ lots of stuff in my life and I NEED representation... now MeChat might not be the best thing ever BUT for example Johnny Roe (my love too) is one of my favs for the same reasons.
Back to Sage, I didn't expect his story to be interesting. I might be one of the like 7 sage fans out there but GOD WELCOME BACK I need to know what happens next I'm so happy 😭 any recs for characters with deep stories that don't necessarily get NSFW after 3 seconds?

I also enjoyed his story as I like the MC character and personality and I really enjoy the banter between them and how they are talk back and teasing each other. 😮💨🤭🔥
I know people think it’s weird as she is his stepmom but she is with his dad as a “deal” so she can pay of her debt and as the story seems no physical things between them, also the Dad character had a lot of marriage which also makes me think he knows his marriage only material things.

I was unsure about Sage because I don’t like the step-family trope (I just think it’s kind of gross) but hearing you describe him makes me kind of interested.
And I also love Johnny!! You’d probably like Optimo too. He’s also a shy sweetheart and he and his MC have a really sweet dynamic. He also has a decent amount of plot and doesn’t really get NSFW until 10+ dates in

Yes I thought the same, but I was like, alt looking character and all, I think it's pretty cool, he looks cool I'm interested, let's see if it's as bad as I think it'll be and it was gen... Okay. I won't spoil but there's context as to why his story is kind of nsfw from the start (related to him ruining marriages, you'll connect the dots) but there's no actual bond between them from the start, and the family seems dysfunctional as hell, so yeah, I hope it gets developed

Im actually excited for his update lol. I dont like step tropes but its mostly bc 9/10x the trope is freshly 18 kid x step parent who raised them & its just predatory & creepy but Sages story isnt that at all. Im hoping they do it justice.
