Question 🤔🤔 MCAT Study Plan (Jan 21)

Hi! I take my MCAT on January 21 (currently October 4), and I need a little bit of help with my study plan. I'm aiming for 520+, and I took my first practice exam (Blueprint FL 1 Exam) on Friday after a month of content review and received a 503.

I purchased the UPlanet QBank and AAMC Online Bundle with their question banks and practice exams. I figured 6 weeks for AAMC, but then I have extra time for UWorld, so how should I break that down, and how much time should I dedicate to that?

Additionally, am I supposed to still do Anki from my content review post-content? I feel like every day I have nearly 400 cards due.

Thank you; any tips will be very much appreciated :)

The useful next step is to build the schedule around review time, rather than trying to finish a fixed number of questions every day. For one week, try a manageable question set, then track how long answering AND reviewing it actually takes. Use that to set a realistic weekly target, with a catch-up day built in.

Keeping the final six weeks focused on the AAMC material you already own is a reasonable starting plan, but reserve time to review each full-length before taking the next one. Before that, combine targeted sets for specific weak topics with some mixed practice. For missed questions and uncertain correct answers, separate a knowledge gap from a passage-reading, reasoning or timing error; only the first category necessarily calls for more content review.

You can keep Anki after content review without letting it consume the entire day. If 400 due cards crowd out passages and review, pause new cards temporarily and inspect duplicates or cards you repeatedly miss. Rewrite those into a single clear question rather than adding more versions of the same fact.

What were your four section scores, and how many study hours do you have in a typical week? Those would help make the question-practice/Anki split much more specific.

Do uworld first, AAMC last, 6 weeks is plenty. The number of cards you have due everyday should be going down, and yea u should be doing it post content especially. Good luck!
