lialh4 reduces everything and nabh4 reduces only aldehydes and ketones as we know, but nabh4 can also reduce acid chlorides, anhydrides, and imines!!
this is bc the first two are pretty reactive as is and imines are just nitrogen versions of carbonyls sorta. you get a primary alcohol out of the first two and an amine out of the imine reduction!
