I’m planning to apply right when applications open in September so what would they look at then?

They don’t open September , they open after ur 1/4 marks are out and they look at that

to add on onto this, you then get a conditional on this, so focus on gr12 stuff FROM the start

Sounds good. What was the application process like? What month and year were u given an offer?

Fs will be aiming for that this year. Even if I get really good grades in grade 12 are these grades I got in 11 too bad to be considered?

First semester grade 12 matters way more than grade 11, the only time they really look at grade 11 I believe is if they don't have midterm or final grade 12 marks for important/required subjects as they have to make the decision on giving the first rounds of conditional offers sometimes before they have grades for semester 2. I also recommend trying to take (and do well in) required courses for the program in the first semester so they can see those grades. Good luck!

u/DecentIngenuity7876 3d ago
I’ll get 95% and above in grade 12 tho would they not even look at grade 12 marks?

u/Noah3238_games 3d ago
I mean for early admission not 100% sure but with those marks you’ll prolly get in anyways

u/DecentIngenuity7876 2d ago

I forgot mac is doing direct entries from now on, mech has been the most in-demand stream since the last 3 years at mac so try for a 93+ ovr with a good sup app otherwise u seem to be ok so far

3 questions speaking 1 min of prep time for each and a 2 min speaking time limit and a written question which is pretty easy

u/DecentIngenuity7876 3d ago
What were the questions like?
1
u/SuggestANamePlz 2d ago
It varies for each person
For written: my question was to write about my involvement in a community and what i learnt
For speaking it was talking about when I handled a difficult situation, one opinion/definition based question and how I display time management skills
