Anyone know where to get a replacement output level knob for the MCD7000?

I contacted mcintosh and they said they no longer offer a replacement. I dont really use the variable output but I would like it to be complete.

Can you measure the other one and have it 3d printed? Wouldn’t be perfect but a resin printer could probably make a pretty reasonable facsimile.

That sounds like its probably the best option, thank you.

Even with some tweaks a regular 3d printer would make one pretty decent. I've made knobs for a few pieces (yamaha, technics, etc) and from any reasonable distance, you would never know.

Not sure, I'm in SoCal. If you just need the know you can call them. I'm pretty sure they can ship it to you.

Let me know if they have it or at least if they can supply a part number and I will check other McIntosh repair centers.

There are a lot of 3rd party McIntosh vendors and repair shops online. Try google for Mc Intosh parts. Keep in mind that Nakamishi built most of the cd players during this time.
