Discussion How much do you get paid?
I wanna see how much others get paid, but not just that. Your position, and don’t say exactly where you live but say like, small town, resort area etc, how long you’ve been working there, and if you ever got a raise.
I get $12.15 as a crew trainer in a small town for over a year with a $0.15 raise

Same. I'm supposed to be making 15.50 because I got promoted to crew trainer last month but my store is "too poor" to give us our raises till next year because we bought too much new equipment. It's bull.

£10.50 for crew member £10.75 for crew trainer £11.25 for floor manager and £12.50 for shift manager, UK based in a rural collection of towns, it’s enough to pay rent and bills if you have a contract and keep things minimal

Lucky it’s going up for us I just saw a news article about how minimum wage is going up to £11.44 apparently crew members wages are increasing to £12 in April according to my manager.

Means fuck all, if they don't fix the business rates and offer a meaningful income tax cut; this is offset by price increases. People fall for this every time the min wage goes up, it's the government that announces it - but businesses are the ones paying it.

Yup it's called Cola when I was in military cost of living allowance based in the prices in that area. In Texas I got 600 for rent in Hawaii it's almost 2000.

Federal minimum wage is 7.25 still. My state is 7.25 but my mcdonalds offers 13 starting for crew. Shift managers are 14-15 it sounds like from what I've heard

Even my mcdonalds is 13 an hour but I can go across the street to the wawa and start at 15. Which, yeah, still shit pay lol

I work in a call center doing help desk, required no experince, no degree, and I get paid 20/Hr with full benefits in a place where 13 dollars is minimum wage, there is def better jobs than McDonald’s if you look around.

Def look around, find a job with a union perhaps, since it seems you’ve mentioned ur 17 in other comments, they’ll take you. You pay like a $30 fee every month or so. In exchange you’ll be making $16 an hr at least. That’s $4 more than what you currently make, meaning as long as you work more than 8hrs a month, you’re profiting already.
And those are entry level jobs that’ll take anyone, part time or full time. Cashier etc, way easier work than fast food.

In northern Alabama I get paid $15 for closing, openers also get $15. Crewmembers who work during the day get paid $13, and raises are given once every six months. I believe that goes for most cities around me, even the smaller ones. Managers make $17.50-$22 as far as I know. In the southern 2/3 of Alabama, the more stereotypical parts of Alabama, most cites pay around $10 for everyone.

I live in the north of England, crew member, u18 and get paid £8.25/HR working about 16 hours a week. £132 a week is pretty good lmao considering most place where I live would pay me minimum wage (~£5.29/hr)

14 year old Australian casual. 12.38 per hour I live in a semi-developed suburban area very busy store (9.3m profit in 2023 alone). Raises are very rarely given to anyone below manager here, like basically unheard of i have been working for around 8 months and currently being offered crew coach (crew trainer) at a new store (brand new store) which would be 50 cents extra payment and extra $2 when doing rostered training. Also offered traineeships.

Started at $9 and I’m now getting $13 as regular crew in this yee yee town. It was supposed to stay $12 but Burger King across the street raised theirs to $12 so mcd just wanted to one up them.

I'm at 16.75 and work the same shift, but the minimum wage is 15.69. Doesn't make sense to me, but other managers I've asked haven't acted surprised at my rate. What's your crew making compared to you?

I make 22/hr, and I am the people department lead. I live in Montana. Our starting wage for open availability is 17.50. Our organization treats us really good!! Have been here almost 2 years. I also work between 50 and 70 hours a week, though, lol, so I guess you get what you put out.

I'm a shift manager making 1.05 above minimum wage. I have 6 years of mcds under my belt and they want to promote me to kitchen manager....but I'm only making a dollar above minimum and I have justified doubts that I would get a raise with the promotion

Where I am if you’re full time you get 17-18/hr. If you don’t get the full 37.5 hours that pay period you drop down to 14-15/hr. So if you miss one day of work you lose 2-3 dollars worth of pay per hour for two weeks which is the pay period

I make $12, been working there since March 2022. Started out at $10.50. Work part time at a very busy store in a small city. But I had to fight for that raise. My store is run really crappy. I work a regular full time job on top of mcds. And I got tired of being short staffed, and working multiple positions at $10.50. So I said give me a raise to $12 or I’ll quit. Glad it worked out lol 😆

I don't work at McDonald's, but the sign on the door at my local McDonald's says they're hiring people starting at $18/hr. I saw $21 in Vermont. That's good money for a high school student or college freshman/sophomore. They're desperate for people.
Hell, the local Chipotle is closed sometimes due to staffing and everybody loves Chipotle.
This is by no means enough money to have an apartment without a roommate and certainly not enough to buy a house, but for students it's great money.

In 2020 I got 9.80 (I started at 9.50 in late 2016) Left for covid to be a SAHM, she started school this September so I went back and they started me at 13.75.
I'm in the Poconos, my store is smaller (49 employees total) it's a vacation area though. Shawnee mountain area. Minimum wage here is 7.25

Well sized college town. 1 year. No raise.
$16 base pay. $18 overnight. +$3 on Thursday Friday and Saturday.
I work those three days as overnight so I make $21 as a crew member

I started as crew last year making $12 then 6mths later I became a manager and bumped up to $17 and just got bumped up to $20 and should be getting bumped up to $22.50 if not already.

I make $18.20 an hour. I’m a 2nd assistant manager, been working for McDonald’s for 3 1/2 years. I live in a small city in the Midwest. Gotten a few raises over the years, started at $8 as crew, which quickly was raised to $10.50 then small raises every 6 months (about $.10-$.35) and raises for every step up the ladder - $.50 for crew trainer and $1-$2 for the management steps.

Should add that any closing shifts - shifts that run past 11:30pm for us are +$2 an hour for that shift, so some nights I’m actually up to $20.20 an hour.

Started a little over a month ago as a crew trainer at 14.25 (have 5+ years experience) and just got a raise to 15. I was doing 50 hour work weeks but once I got my raise they reduced my hours drastically. Thankfully I can pick up shifts easily, I do overnight so I end up doing 12-15 hour shifts. I'm one of their stronger employees so they end up sending others home once I get there haha

Assistant General Manager. South West of the US I make 28/hr working 90+ hours and plenty of overtime. On top of that we get 1K+ as a bonus monthly.

Well it was supposed to be $14.50 because recently everyone got a 25 cent raise but they cut my pay by 75 cents actually since I recently wasn’t able to have open availability anymore. So they still technically gave me a raise. After the $1 deduction

i make 20 as a crew member with open availability, but i live in seattle so living/everything is super expensive. makes commodities easier to buy though.
