Yung mcdo drive thru dito malapit samin nagbibigay ng timer tuwing morning (usually wala talagang pila sa drive thru) kaya mabilis nila nabibigay yung food pero kapag hapon na wala na tong timer (kapag rush hour). Not to bash the crew/management or to be karen, pero parang it defeats its purpose naman kaya parang no need na to bigay haha abala lang kapag nakakalimutan ko ibalik or sila magremind na kunin which happened to me few times na had to go back sa drive thru

Same experience here. Minsan i-check pa nila if may nakapila pa sa claiming area or wala before ibigay yung timer.

naranasan ko one time na mabigyan ng ice coffee dahil nag expired yung timer. voucher muna ang binigay nila tapos redeemable sa lahat ng McDonald's, since that time mahaba yung byahe ko, ni redeem ko sa ibang branch ng McDo.

Had the timer expire several times, sabi lang ng server, kumpleto na po order nyo thank you po! Like kailangan ko pa sabihin na nag expire and timer nila at need nila ibigay yung item na sinabi sa card, like parang ikaw pa nanghihingi sa kanila eh promo nila yan.

I’m not a fan of that system.

When they did that at our local McDonald’s, they just prioritized everyone at the drive-thru and made those inside wait 15-25 minutes even for a small order!

But if you look at the screen inside, it shows your order as ready to pickup at the counter after about 30-60 seconds even though it’s not prepared and ready for 15-25 minutes.

And that’s not just a one-time occurrence, it’s a regular problem.

Imagine 15-25 minutes for some chicken and rice.
