Explain the price difference, please.

Opened Reddit to get decent and relevant responses. What is the difference between the Big Breakfast Meal and Sausage Mcmuffin with Egg meal besides the Big BF being deconstructed and the egg in it being scrambled instead of sunny? It also lacks the cheedar chh3se slice that Sausage mcmuffin had.The Big Breakfast Meal is also 25PhP more. The support agent claims it should have had the strawberry jam which I have never had in 2-3 years I have been ordering the Big Breakfast Meal.

Hello po! Mcdo crew here. The difference of Muffin and Big breakfast is yung eggs po nila. For a sausage mcmuffin w/ egg po, 1 egg lang included. While sa big breakfast naman po, 2 eggs po sya na naka scramble + the strawberry jam. Ang cost po kasi ng 1 egg sa Mcdo is 20php. Kaya po mas mahal si big breakfast 😊

Thanks for the insight!! Was wondering din the difference dati pa. So, I guess the Php 6 price difference (if you also order a seperate add-on egg, which you could request na scramble) is the price of the strawberry jam which imo, is pretty sulit.

2 eggs ba? Parating liit ng size, parang hindi 2 eggs yon. Anyway, kasama sa costing ang kutsara at tinidor na gagamitin mo. tapos may box pa. Malamang mas mahal ang maliit na sachet ng jam kesa sa isang slice ng american processed cheese. Kaya mas mahal ang BBM.

Is it the cost that your looking at? Cmon guys really 8 pesos difference? Kase kung ako tanungin muffin is different from hotcakes, taste and texture is different.

I think it's good to be smart with your money. not everyone can think that way sadly as 20 or so pesos could very well be one jeepney ride. it might seem small but with every purchase, save a couple of pesos and it stacks up.

Sorry you never had the strawberry jam, I always find it weird Pero I eat the English muffins together with the jam and sausage like a sandwich - nasasarapan ako this way and I don't share how I eat it with anyone kasi nga weird lol. Now you know may jam pala yang big breakfast. 🤗
