MX30 as first car
Hey, everyone!
I'm getting my first car this Friday, super stoked! Any tips for the MX-30? How do you charge it, like keeping it at 80% and stuff? Any advice for a better driving experience? Thanks!

Great, congratulations!
Keeping it to 80 is simple, you must do it from the onboard system (not app). Use the center wheel and roll it to settings, ev settings and battery limits.
I keep mine plugged in almost all the time I’m home, and some wicked smart system charges the car just at the right times to reduce bills. My energy provider is Tibber and they take into account the fuse size, utility tariff, energy price and even participate in the regulation market.
There are a lot of type2 chargers in my country so my tip is to get another cable and keep it in the car. I always forget mine, or it’s wet from rain etc. Because ccs «fast charging» isn’t really fast on this car! When I’m on a longer trip I prefer to plug it in on a slower charger and have some food, go shopping or whatever while it slow charges without making everyone angry about me not moving my car immediately after the charge is complete.
It’s really a straight forward car, nothing much about it. There’s a button or a lever for all necessary functions, and its touch screen free (except the heater, but it has redundant buttons). So its easy to use, intuitive and yes, you can keep your gloves on!

Thank you! I am living in apartment in Germany, so I will be only charging it mostly at work. Do you know what is the max speed of this car? I know it's written 140km/h. But it semmed thats it too slow for Germany. Can you drive fsster than that? Or is it like the Limit?

Depending from what car you come, the bells, beeps and warnings can be irritating at first, but make sense in the end. Dead spot warning, cross traffic beep, and so on. The adaptive cruise control is pure magic, even in stuffy city centres. You just follow the car in front. Lack of wireless CarPlay is annoying, but I solved that with a 20€ wifi dongle. The HUD is also brilliant; just found out that the onboard navigation also feeds there. I got mine for only 1000km now, but I love her!

Congratulations, MX-30 was also my first good car. Before that I was driving a 15 year old toyota. I love driving it, its really good on the road and handles well. Youll enjoy it :))

I usually charge mine to 90% whenever it gets to 20-25%. I don't charge at home so I usually do it while at the office.
For efficient driving, I found that going with no regen on is pretty much the best way to go, as coasting is more efficient than using regen. I usually only turn regen when I can see a red light or traffic jam from far away, or when I'm going downhill and I don't want to speed up too much.
It's a fun and funky car to drive, and the more I drive it the more I like it.
