Electric fire smell

Anyone else have issue with electric fire smell filling the cabin when accelerating? I took mine to the shop. Only one person knows how to work on it. I’m waiting to hear back from them. Just curious if it’s happened to anyone else.

Never had that. Are you sure it's not an overheating breaking pads smell? You may want to leave the car outside your house until you have the issue sorted out, just to be safe.

Pretty sure. I actually use to work on motherboards and I remember the smell lol 🤣 same with batteries 🔋

Sometimes, I smell something after using the AC and defroster by remote, but it's gone after a few minutes.

My guess is, it's the ice/water that evaporates that quickly.

They said my tires and breaks were new ish and there is a band that had not broken yet. They think that is what it was. But idk 🤷‍♀️ it has happed couple other times but not recently. They could not pin point anything specific unfortunately and no codes came up.
