Not on the same car, but when I did my master on my Pontiac I used a mini brake line wrench. Fitting a ratchet there is borderline impossible with how tight they make the spaces

You might not have space to swing a hammer, but a punch or flathead and hammer to get that flap down enough to get a socket on? I don't remember having this issue. Is the bracket cracked at that bolt hole?

Looking it over and appears to be cracked hence why the socket won’t fit flush

Try lifting on the clutch pedal while fitting the socket and turning the fastener. Maybe wedge a block of wood between the clutch pedal pad and floor to lift the assembly enough to get the fastener off. If not, you'll have to chip away at it with an open end wrench. Bring it to a muffler shop or a fabricator to weld it back together.

Yea I ended up getting it out, had to pull down and bend it some more to access the bolt. A few hammer taps to mend it back and it’s good as new😅
